Antares Producción y Distribución S.L. celebrates its 15th birthday this year looking back at an eventful history:

Since its foundation in 1994, Antares has been very successful in the area of production and distribution of audiovisual content. Its flexibility and open-mindedness are two of the reasons why Antares is still a prospering company in the fast-moving multimedia business after 15 years: new technologies and changing market needs are always taken into consideration for the individual projects and clients.

The team has been developing profound and broad experiences in the field of science and multimedia: From the edition of several astronomical magazines and books to the planning of exhibitions and development of science teaching aids.

In addition to this, the first Spanish online shop for popular scientific products was established and the co-operations with renowned partners like Bayer and the Spanish ministries concerning the production of interactive and educational films were strengthened.

In January 2009, Antares founded a new department: Antares FullDome. With this new business line, the company created a springboard for the production and distribution of fulldome films for planetariums.

The staff of Antares is happy to celebrate its 15th birthday – and is looking forward to continuing the successful co-operations with its partners and clients.
